For her Autumn-Winter 2010/2011 Couture Collection, Dany Atrache drew inspiration from the retro lines of the 50’s: emphasized bust, corseted waist, “umbrella” or “balloon” skirts inspired by the “New Look”.
There’s also a lingerie spirit that adds a touch of sensuality.
Short dresses inspired by the swimwear of those years that marked the advent of glamour chic, but also red-carpet maxi dresses.
The refined elegance of the Collection is interpreted in noble materials, using silk chiffon, gazar, taffeta, lace and organza.
Dany Atrache gives pride of place to ruffles and drapes, the highlights of her Collection. They take on all their fullness and combine to create a sophisticated, chic silhouette.
