Glory to the street! Wear vintage!

These words resounded throughout the first fashion show of Dentelle et Macarons and summarize the philosophy of the brand: Nothing is out of fashion, everything is adaptable.

During the Take me out show, the small brand of vintage pieces and retro creations presented its first ready-to-wear collection on Saturday, March 13, 2010.

The brand with an innovative concept does not hesitate to create a collection made of vintage pieces, found in the four corners of the planet according to the current trend on one side and retro creations, accessories and mini-collection, on the other side. The result: a contemporary and elegant woman deeply rooted in her time. The brand offers every woman the opportunity to reinvent herself, to stand out by changing her way of dressing. And to help us, the two designers Cindy Godard and Soazic Robert-Carteret show us 25 silhouettes of the “Lace and Macaroons” woman, sparkling and full of life, who doesn’t hesitate to accessorize her basics. These silhouettes are made of limited edition pieces with names of trendy Parisian places as a tribute to Paris: Paris-Paris, Montana, Baron and especially Amour… Because what emerges above all is the love of vintage. But look at it this way: the suits are very present and are worn belted. The variations tank top and skirt become a real exercise in style with a preference for the short. Hair jewels adorn the faces of these warrior women who are taking back possession of fashion and claiming vintage as a state of mind.

The fashion is well in the street.
