A runway without frills, a huge room in the arteries of the Louvre, rows of sitting as far as the eye can see, we must set the scene.
The ready-to-wear collection of Chapurin begins on a minimalist note, a priori… From the very first notes of the soundtrack, an icy Siberian wind comes crashing down before our frightened eyes, the falling snow coupled with this white glow from which the models emerge provokes the shiver of the Taiga in each of us.
Between Slavic culture and Siberian tradition, an architectural collection comes to life: the voluminous jackets, belted at the waist and predominantly black, are enhanced with fox, beaver and racoon furs – for the wild side. Tinted for the most part, the contrast is striking. The precious fabrics of poplin, wool or natural silk are a cocoon in which one feels good and the crocodile and ostrich skins bring a touch of eccentricity to these pretty amazons of a crazy chic.
Between the city streets and the great inhospitable steppes of the icy regions there was only one step; this appointment in unknown land is a pure success. Bravo !
