Successful Nude make-up

The goal of a nude makeup is (as you can imagine) to be beautiful without looking made up. This does not necessarily mean less make-up, the difficulty lies in the choice of shades. The colors used must blend with the natural colors of our skin, the objective being to camouflage our small defects and to emphasize our natural beauty.

Discreet this type of makeup is at the same time sexy because it gives the impression to be beautiful in any circumstance (even in the morning after a drunken evening).

The essentials for a successful natural makeup:

The foundation

We will choose it matte (the pearly foundations are not top for a nude make-up). The foundation should be as close to your skin color as possible so don’t use a darker product to look tan because it won’t look natural. Fluid foundations are more suitable for concealing blemishes than powders. If necessary, use a concealer.

If you have a perfect skin, a light veil of powder will be enough

(this is valid for all types of makeup).

The blush

This summer’s trendy coral color is perfect for nude. The pink and orange shades, very natural will also be adapted to this make-up.

The eye shadow

Subtle, the eyeshadow should be neutral (ideally) or pastel. Beige is the must have color for this makeup but pale pinks and other peach colors will work well with nude.

Mascara

Preferably transparent or brown, only one coat is applied!

(it should not be visible).

The lipstick

It should be flesh-colored or slightly pink and should match the natural color of your lips.

The gloss

Don’t forget it! The gloss gives volume to the lips and contributes to give a glamorous side to this makeup. We choose a transparent one and we apply it in small quantity.

My advice :

With this type of makeup, a « coiffed » hairstyle is awfully sexy.

Style your hair in all directions (the « jump out of bed » effect!).
