For its womenswear Fall Winter 2020, Emanuel Ungaro continues to primarily focus on sophisticated knitwear and to mix it with its exclusive printed silk patterns to give an unformal construction. A resolutely feminine approach.
Created by its in-house design studio based in Paris and with expert knit technicians from Milan, the collection has found its niche. The collection is presented in its historical showroom in Avenue Montaigne. The mood is easy-to-wear, unconstructed and developed in the flamboyant colors emblematic of the house.
The design team took inspiration from the archives. Patchwork and flowers’ patters printed in satin offered pleasing fluidity in the silhouettes and reappear as the vibrant lining of faux fur coats in a saturated Atlantic turquoise tone.
Going-out options include midnight blue or large black and white checkerboard sequins. Neckline of silver beading embellish some “party” pieces. Emanuel Ungaro’ s iconic multicolor flowers with polka dots in their hearts can be seen on the fluid dresses in printed jersey and are also printed on jacquard knitted tops.
