Carine Roitfeld and Bebe Moratti host an exclusive party to celebrate the launch of CR Calendar 2020 during Paris Fashion Week.
CR Calendar 2020 was produced by CR Fashion Book’s creative agency CR Studio in partnership with Redemption, the pioneering retailer that fuses rock’n’roll with sustainability and philanthropy. Shot by the trailblazing feminist photographer Brianna Capozzi, this year’s stellar cast includes Irina Shayk (January – Capricorn), Doutzen Kroes (February – Aquarius), Cindy Crawford (March – Pisces), Alek Wek (April – Aries), Stella Maxwell (May – Taurus), Carolyn Murphy (June – Gemini), Miss Fame (July – Cancer), Kris Grikaite (August – Leo), Guinevere Van Seenus (September – Virgo), Candice Swanepoel (October – Libra), Mariacarla Boscono (November – Scorpio), and Anok Yai (December – Sagittarius)
The images show the inherent beauty of the models and different astrology signs on each t-shirt design, from Cindy Crawford as a fluid Pisces, Alek Wek as a headstrong Aries to Mariacarla Boscono as a passionate Scorpio. Renowned astrologer Susan Miller also debuts in the Calendar video, offering her celestial pearls of wisdom.
As Carine Roitfeld, Founder of CR Studio and CR Fashion Book says: “A new year and decade always calls for reinvention. So, we’re thrilled to create the first ever ‘t-shirt calendar’ for our annual CR Calendar with 12 models who represent beauty in all different forms, captured not only through the lens of astrology and philanthropy, but with Brianna’s daring aesthetic. It’s the perfect way to kick off the new year in a bold fashion, celebrating these strong women and their charities. As a Virgo, I was very excited to see Guinevere’s interpretation of course and I hope everyone gets behind their signs or ‘tees’ to help raise money for the different causes.”

These are also characteristics of each zodiac sign, so when Carine asked me to be part of this project I didn’t hesitate. I wanted to capture the essence of each sign and evoke an emotion with each shirt.”
The CR Calendar 2020 t-shirts are available to purchase on REDEMPTION.COM. 100 t-shirts of each zodiac sign will be available, with all proceeds going to the models’ 12 designated charities which appear on each t-shirt design, including Pomogi, BARC Shelter, Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI), Mothers 2 Mothers, Step Up, amfAR, Squadra 4 Zampe, and Women’s Guild.
CR Calendar 2020 marks the third edition of Carine Roitfeld’s annual calendar project, which pairs iconic photographers, talent and partners together to benefit a nominated charity or causes each year. This follows on from the CR Calendar 2019 desk-sized collector’s edition photographed by Mario Sorrenti in collaboration with Estée Lauder, with all sales benefiting Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF); and CR Girls 2018 shot by Steven Klein in partnership with Techno Gym, which benefited The Special Olympics charity.
