As it has done every year for the past three years, the famous Italian fashion house Marni takes advantage of the Christmas holidays to help underprivileged children. This year, the Italian label is offering a special project co-designed by children from all over the world, paying tribute to them and encouraging their creative spirit.
For its new capsule collection of bags, the Italian fashion house asked children of all ages from the most disadvantaged populations in South Africa and Asia to draw their imaginary world. Called Children’s Imaginary World, all the bags were made from vintage Marni fabrics from the house’s archives, to become unique tote bags that are wonderfully festive and practical.
The limited edition CHILDREN’S IMAGINARY WORLD bags will be sold exclusively in MARNI boutiques and on the MARNI Virtual Store for €100. Profits will be donated to associations for the education and development of children in schools and hospitals, with the mission of encouraging learning, exploring their creativity and giving hope for a better future.
The festive season is fast approaching, and the spirit of Christmas is arriving with its outpouring of kindness and generosity. These tote bags will make an original gift while doing a good deed. Unless, of course, you’d prefer them to accompany you for the rest of the year, simply by giving you pleasure…
