In a world where social networks are inescapable and physical appearance counts for more than anything else, why not reconcile the two?
Using community tools to ask, exchange and advise on everything to do with personal image: that’s what Look’n’Be is all about. This first social web mirror lets you ask questions directly by posting photos, and get feedback from a community eager to give and receive advice! Which, of course, is what I tried out. In the middle of online shopping, I was hesitating between 2 dresses, so I asked the Look’n’Be community for their opinion:
I created an account very quickly thanks to the integrated Facebook Connect, and started setting up my question:
Then I put the photo of my two dresses:
It’s possible to hide the face (if it was a photo of me and I wanted to remain anonymous!), directly in the photo settings.
Then I targeted the community I wanted to be advised by:
And here’s the result! No more doubts about which one to choose, I think… 🙂
I was quickly taken in by the ease of use and the friendliness of this social network. It could have been the perfect place for all those anonymous, professional bitter people to lynch each other, but… nothing like that.
It’s a community platform with a bright future, having pioneered its field with a potential community almost equal to the number of human beings on Earth!
