Au Pied de Cochon kicks off the Beaujolais nouveau on Wednesday 18 November at 11:59 p.m., to the sound of the midnight bell. A glass of Beaujolais Villages Nouveau from Domaine des Nugues is then offered, and the Parisian brasserie follows with 24 hours of uninterrupted festivities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Beaujolais nouveau goes on sale on the third Thursday of November, at midnight sharp. The brasserie\u2019s bell times its kick-off to this ritual, and Thursday 19 November begins with a festive breakfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All week, at lunch, a dedicated menu interprets the vintage on the plate: \u0153ufs meurette, wild boar pie and poached pear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year\u2019s edition is dressed in a collector label signed by Alice Des, available on site and to take away at \u20ac29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
