For its twentieth anniversary, the perfume House Etat Libre<\/a> d\u2019Orange publishes the first Advent calendar in its history: twelve windows, twelve new stories, from 14 to 25 December. A festive format that extends the taste for narrative that its perfume names already signal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Etat Libre d\u2019Orange calendar is a limited edition dressed in deep blue and gilding, conceived as a collector\u2019s object. Its twelve windows open from 14 to 25 December. Each holds a creation and the fable imagined around it: twelve new stories, twelve scented surprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contents mix formats. Four 8\u00a0ml eau de parfum miniatures bring together You or Someone Like You, Hermann \u00e0 mes c\u00f4t\u00e9s me paraissait une ombre, The Ghost in the Shell and Remarkable People. Two 10\u00a0ml travel sizes, from the Collection Orange Extraordinaire, hold Experimentum Crucis and Nostos. A 50\u00a0ml eau de parfum bottle of You or Someone Like You completes the liquid part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The perfume then spills out of the bottle. Three miniature 70\u00a0g scented candles take up You or Someone Like You, Divin Enfant and Hermann \u00e0 mes c\u00f4t\u00e9s me paraissait une ombre. Two scented accessories end the series: a scented ceramic and a scentable scarf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The choice of the tale stems from the very material of the collection. Titles such as Hermann \u00e0 mes c\u00f4t\u00e9s me paraissait une ombre or Nostos are already sentences, openings of stories. The calendar gives them a daily frame, one window a day until Christmas, and turns the discovery of a perfume into an appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Etat Libre d\u2019Orange 2026 calendar is sold for \u20ac300 on etatlibredorange.com<\/a> and in the House\u2019s two Paris boutiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
