Two signatures, two registers: Herm\u00e8s<\/a> announces for January 2027 the first menswear ready-to-wear<\/a> by Grace Wales Bonner and the introduction of couture by Nad\u00e8ge Vanh\u00e9e. The financial release of 22 October specifies this division, which is essential to understanding the house’s creative calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two projects to read separately<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The first event concerns the men’s wardrobe. Le Journal du Luxe places its presentation in Paris during the autumn-winter 2027-2028 fashion week. The second opens a couture territory under Nad\u00e8ge Vanh\u00e9e’s responsibility. Bringing them together under a single artistic direction would lose the meaning of this double announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The distinction also sketches two different expectations. A first men’s collection will be looked at for what it offers in silhouette, proportions and uses. An introduction to couture raises another question: how will the house’s savoir-faire find its place in this register? The announcements do not yet allow either the garments or their making to be described.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
