RDAI weaves this architectural reference together with the house&#8217;s sixteen m\u00e9tiers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Five fa\u00e7ades in distinct masonry make up the Herm\u00e8s address in Williamsburg. The house presents this composition as a response to the architectural character of the Brooklyn neighbourhood. Herm\u00e8s&#8217;s sixteen m\u00e9tiers are laid out across two levels. According to the official presentation, the space evokes a Brooklyn workshop and incorporates works by Williamsburg artists into its walls and certain floor details.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These choices propose a local reading of the retail space. On their own, they do not prove a lasting anchoring in the neighbourhood, but they offer concrete elements worth examining: the relationship of the fa\u00e7ade to its neighbours, the place given to the artworks, and the way the materials shape the visitor&#8217;s path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Neighbourhood as Interlocutor<br \/>\nAn international boutique can import an already-formed language. It can also let its address reshape some of its choices. This second path demands more than a decorative reference: the context must remain perceptible in how the space is used, in what one looks at, and in how one moves through it.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Williamsburg, the plurality of fa\u00e7ades offers a starting point for this reading. In principle, it avoids reducing the surroundings to a single recognisable motif.
