Since 1811, Perrier-Jou\u00ebt has made Chardonnay a signature rather than just another grape variety. The Champagne house pays tribute to this stance once again with the launch of a limited-edition gift box dedicated to its Blanc de Blancs cuv\u00e9e, conceived as a showcase drawing directly on the house’s visual codes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the center of this box’s design is the Japanese anemone, a floral motif that became Perrier-Jou\u00ebt’s emblem as early as 1902 and a true throughline of its Art Nouveau identity. Rendered here in delicate pale yellow tones, the flower echoes the luminous hue of the Blanc de Blancs, a champagne characterized by vivid citrus notes and fragrant flowers \u2014 the floral signature the house has claimed for more than two centuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The box comes with two flutes whose shape has been specifically designed to showcase the fineness of the bubbles and reveal the cuv\u00e9e’s aromatic richness. Perrier-Jou\u00ebt notes that each flute is meant to be filled only a third of the way, a serving gesture designed to allow the aromas to develop fully in the glass rather than being diluted in too generous a volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From a winemaking standpoint, the Blanc de Blancs remains a demanding exercise in style for the house. Made exclusively from Chardonnay, it comes from a selection of around fifteen crus among Champagne’s most reputed terroirs, with up to 15% reserve wines incorporated into the blend to guarantee stylistic consistency from one year to the next. This rigor in sourcing partly explains the cuv\u00e9e’s positioning, offered in its new box at a suggested retail price of 114.15 euros including tax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This launch is part of a broader strategy at the house, which has multiplied initiatives around its Art Nouveau identity and its relationship with nature over several seasons \u2014 a thread it has also explored recently through artistic collaborations centered on plant life. By betting on the anemone as the central motif of this new box, Perrier-Jou\u00ebt confirms that its floral iconography, more than ever, serves as a shared language between its wine and its object.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
