For the new Woody Wagon Cologne Collection, Louis Vuitton and California-based artist Alex Israel are continuing their seven-year collaboration with a sculptural piece produced in a limited edition of 66, crafted by 60 artisans over more than 7,000 hours.<\/p>\n\n

A California road trip turned collector\u2019s item<\/h2>\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m very excited to continue exploring my favorite landscape\u2014Los Angeles\u2014on this road trip alongside Jacques Cavallier Belletrud and Louis Vuitton. The Woody Wagon has always embodied a certain Californian freedom: a surfboard on the roof, the family in the back of the car, and the Pacific Ocean just around the next hill. Here, the six Cologne fragrances make up the family,\u201d explains Alex Israel, an iconic figure in California\u2019s contemporary art scene who has been collaborating with the House since 2019.<\/p>\n\n

The Woody Wagon\u2014a vehicle recognizable by its wooden panels that has long held a unique place in the legend of the American West Coast\u2014is transformed here into a miniature sculptural object, reinterpreted with the brand\u2019s expertise \u2014 a display that showcases the collection as a metaphor for the Californian landscape rather than simply as luxury packaging.<\/p>\n\n

219 handcrafted elements<\/h2>\n\n

Produced in a limited run of 66 pieces\u2014a nod to the legendary Route 66\u2014this miniature creation required the collaboration of 60 artisans and more than 7,000 hours of work. Every detail has been meticulously crafted: the roof and doors are engraved with the Monogram motif in wood, the wheels are adorned with Monogram flowers, and each of the 219 components has been shaped and assembled by hand. This level of artisanal craftsmanship\u2014disproportionate to the object\u2019s function as a simple bottle display\u2014places it firmly in the realm of a collector\u2019s item rather than a commercial accessory.<\/p>\n\n

The six Cologne fragrances featured in this miniature vehicle were created by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud as a series of sensory stops, each capturing a different facet of the West Coast in an ode to California\u2019s spirit of freedom.<\/p>\n\n

To further celebrate the art of travel so dear to the House, Louis Vuitton is also unveiling a series of reimagined cases for three iconic colognes: Sun Song, California Dream, and Afternoon Swim. Crafted from translucent resin, these cases feature a gradient of vibrant colors\u2014from bright yellow to incandescent orange for Sun Song, transparent pink to sky blue for California Dream, azure blue to deep blue for Afternoon Swim\u2014where the Monogram pattern, delicately applied across the entire surface, leaves its timeless signature through a translucent effect that enhances each fragrance.<\/p>\n\n

Each of these three cases is available in a limited edition of 100 pieces, a variation that extends the collection\u2019s visual universe beyond the central object alone without diminishing its rarity.<\/p>\n\n

The Woody Wagon Cologne Collection is available for 9,000 euros by special order, in a limited edition of 66 pieces available starting July 2, 2026, with delivery scheduled for late September. Each travel case retails for 950 euros, also in a limited edition of 100 pieces available starting July 2.
