Instead, it focuses on that very specific moment when a stalk snaps in your hands, releasing a green, damp, almost metallic scent. More a garden memory than a fragrance in the traditional sense.
Founded on Sweden\u2019s west coast, L:a Bruket has spent several years developing an olfactory vocabulary directly linked to Nordic landscapes and their everyday uses. The bath, the hands, the body: for the brand, skincare remains tied to a form of domestic ecology, far removed from the spectacular displays of contemporary perfumery. The Rhubarb\/Geranium collection continues this tradition. A limited edition, featuring a hand and body wash, body lotion, and hand cream, available starting May 18.
The project\u2019s starting point stems from the memories of Monica Kyl\u00e9n, the brand\u2019s founder. In the press release, she recalls her earliest experiences in the garden and the crisp sound made by freshly harvested rhubarb. This detail could have remained merely anecdotal.
