The approach remains true to Thibaud Crivelli\u2019s method: starting with a personal memory and then translating it into an olfactory experience. Since its inception, the House has championed this approach to conceiving perfume as an extension of an encounter with a raw material, a landscape, or an unexpected sensation. The composition opens with ORPUR\u00ae bergamot essential oil from Italy, joined by CO\u2082 ginger extract and ORPUR\u00ae cardamom absolute from India, used as a perfumer\u2019s secret to prolong the top note. The heart combines ORPUR\u00ae olibanum resin from Somalia and ORPUR\u00ae Damask rose essential oil from Turkey. The base notes rest on a musk accord, ORPUR\u00ae tonka bean absolute from Brazil, ORPUR\u00ae cistus absolute from Spain, and fir balsam. <\/p>\n\n

There is something deliberately physical about this fragrance. Bergamot acts like the opening of the ribcage. Ginger and cardamom introduce a dry, almost muscular warmth. The official press release confirms that the fragrance is positioned as the first milestone in a new musk-centered journey, inspired by the experience of stretching at the first light of day, with a luminous composition blending Damask rose and incense. <\/p>\n\n
