The brand founded by Rihanna in partnership with Kendo Brands\u2014a beauty incubator owned by LVMH\u2014has built part of its influence on its ability to make skincare less abstract. Fenty Beauty was launched in 2017, Fenty Skin in 2020, Fenty Eau de Parfum in 2021, and Fenty Hair in 2024, according to information provided by the brand. The portfolio was built around a simple idea: to expand access to high-performance beauty products without compromising the pleasure of using them. <\/p>\n\n

This season, Fenty Skin is bringing back two indulgent scents. Vanilla Dream<\/em>, launched in January 2023, combines vanilla, pink sugar, and coconut. The scent is featured in two body care products: Butta Drop Whipped Oil Body Cream<\/em> and Butta Drop Hydrating Body Milk<\/em>. Cacao<\/em>, originally released as a limited edition for the 2025 holiday season, returns to lip care with Plush Puddin\u2019 Intensive Recovery Lip Mask<\/em> and Fenty Treatz Hydrating + Strengthening Lip Oil<\/em>. All four products are available at Sephora and on Sephora.fr, with suggested retail prices of 42 euros for the body cream, 35 euros for the body milk, 23.50 euros for the lip mask, and 24.90 euros for the lip oil. <\/p>\n\n

Here, the body is pampered with two complementary textures. Butta Drop Whipped Oil Body Cream<\/em> is based on a formula containing nearly 25% rich butters and seven oils: Kalahari melon, sorrel, baobab, sunflower, rice bran, coconut, and jojoba. Shea butter nourishes the skin and helps maintain its moisture barrier; mango butter provides a wealth of antioxidants; and glycerin helps retain water in the skin\u2019s outermost layer. The claimed result is not a dramatic transformation, but a satin finish\u2014without any sticky residue\u2014achieved through the combination of a nourishing formula and a texture that melts quickly into the skin. <\/p>\n\n

The body lotion captures the essence of the cream in a lighter, more fluid formula. Its formula combines Kalahari melon, baobab, and coconut oils; shea, mango, and cocoa butters; Barbados cherry extract; and vitamin E. The difference lies in how it\u2019s used: one pump, faster absorption, and a lighter application than the jar version. Skincare becomes a daily, almost automatic routine. Sephora also presents the Butta Drop Hydrating Body Milk<\/em> as a lightweight lotion derived from the award-winning Butta Drop<\/em> cream, designed for quick hydration and a satin finish. <\/p>\n\n

On the lips, Cacao<\/em> takes indulgence to a more restorative level. Plush Puddin\u2019 Intensive Recovery Lip Mask<\/em> combines coconut and castor oils, a complex of pomegranate and jojoba oils, pomegranate sterols, acerola extract, and vitamin E. The brand promises a smoother texture and visibly reduced fine lines in just one week. This claim should be taken with a grain of salt, as with any cosmetic claim, but the formula\u2019s composition is well-rounded: occlusive oils, antioxidants, comfort-boosting active ingredients, and support for the skin\u2019s moisture barrier. Sephora also lists Plush Puddin\u2019<\/em> among Fenty Skin\u2019s lip care products, with a formula centered on castor and coconut oils. <\/p>\n\n

Fenty Treatz Hydrating Strengthening Lip Oil<\/em> takes a different approach: it strengthens the skin\u2019s moisture barrier while leaving a sheer veil. It combines cocoa extract, jojoba and rosehip seed oils, sweet cherry seed oil, and acerola and wild cherry extracts. The product bridges the gap between skincare and gloss, targeting a segment that has become essential in the beauty market: hybrid products that can be incorporated into a routine without the formality of a treatment. <\/p>\n\n

Fenty Skin backs up these products with packaging commitments: boxes made from FSC-certified material that are recyclable according to local regulations; a body cream jar made from 30% recycled materials; body milk pumps made from 50% recycled materials, and lip mask jars marketed as being made from 100% recycled materials. The message remains one of gradual improvement, not an ecological revolution. This is undoubtedly where precision matters: in the beauty industry, desirability no longer exempts brands from being accountable for their materials, packaging, and end-of-life processes. <\/p>\n\n

The return of Vanilla Dream<\/em> and Cacao<\/em> signals a broader shift: the skin is no longer merely cared for; it is showcased through texture and scent. Gourmet scents, long confined to a form of adolescent indulgence, are making a comeback in a more refined version\u2014less sweet in intent than in memory. Fenty Skin understands this concept: a skincare product must work, of course, but it must also make you want to use it again and again.
