Some houses build their identity on continuity. Hendrick’s Gin, on the other hand, prefers to cultivate divergence. Since its origins, Scottish gin has been an elegant anomaly in the world of spirits – an unstable balance between tradition and fantasy, precision and eccentricity. <\/p>\n\n

With the launch of Another Hendrick’s, the House is not breaking with this logic: it’s amplifying it.<\/p>\n\n

Conceived by master distiller Lesley Gracie, this new reference – the first permanent integration in nearly a decade – mirrors the Original. Two expressions, the same DNA, but nuances that respond to each other in a subtle dialogue. <\/p>\n\n

It all starts with Hendrick’s Original.<\/p>\n\n

For twenty-five years, this gin has redefined the codes of the super-premium segment. Its uniqueness is based on a rare process: the blending of two distillates from different stills – Bennett for structure, Carter-Head for finesse. To this base is added a bouquet of eleven botanicals, enriched by two infusions that have become iconic: rose and cucumber. <\/p>\n\n

The result is an immediately recognizable aromatic signature. Floral, fresh, slightly offbeat. A construction that plays on contrasts without ever losing coherence. <\/p>\n\n

Another Hendrick’s extends this logic, but shifts it.<\/p>\n\n

The visual contrast is already striking. The black bottle, inspired by 19th-century apothecary flasks, is matched by a white, almost spectral version. It’s a strong graphic contrast, reflecting an intention to reveal another facet without denying the original (see pages 1 and 5 of the document). <\/p>\n\n

Aromatically, the variation is just as precise.<\/p>\n\n

Rose and cucumber remain, but are enriched by a new duo: cocoa and orange blossom. The former adds depth and texture, while the latter introduces a lively lemony note. Together, they redraw the balance of the gin, adding a velvety, gourmand dimension to the initial structure. <\/p>\n\n

On the nose, juniper berries express themselves clearly, supported by citrus notes and controlled sweetness. On the palate, complexity builds progressively, between freshness and roundness, to a soft, almost enveloping finish. <\/p>\n\n

What really sets this launch apart is its dialogue-based approach.<\/p>\n\n

Hendrick’s Original and Another Hendrick’s are not designed to clash, but to coexist. Like light and shadow, black and white, they create a dual, coherent, almost narrative universe. <\/p>\n\n

This duality naturally continues in use.<\/p>\n\n

In mixology, the two expressions lend themselves to a multitude of interpretations. Gin & Tonic with cucumber remains a classic, but the House also offers more contemporary variations, such as Spritz or Sgroppino, which fully reveal the aromatic nuances of both gins (recipes detailed on page 7). <\/p>\n\n

Both priced at \u20ac36.95 for 70 cl and with an alcohol content of 41.4%, these gins confirm the premium’s accessible positioning – luxury with character, but without ostentation. <\/p>\n\n

Hendrick’s doesn’t just offer a new product.<\/p>\n\n
