\"image001\"<\/a>Acne Studios publishes “Peter Schlesinger Sculpture”, a monograph paying tribute to the work of renowned artist Peter Schlesinger. A capsule collection of silk pyjamas in prints inspired by the artist’s work accompanies the book. <\/p>\n

Over the course of frequent collaborations with Acne Paper, a strong friendship has developed between Schlesinger and Jonny Johansson, Creative Director of Acne Studios. Together, they decided to publish a book illustrated with photos by Eric Boman, Schlesinger’s partner of 40 years. <\/p>\n

The monograph, in a limited, numbered edition, offers a pictorial history of over 150 of Schlesinger’s works, from the late 80s to the present day.<\/p>\n

An exclusive collection of pyjamas, Peter’s signature garment, has been designed by Jonny and is inspired by the motifs characteristic of the artist’s work. Made from fine silk, the collection reproduces the vibrant colors of Peter’s ceramics. <\/p>\n

“Peter is not only a valued friend but also an artist I’ve admired for a long time. I love the integrity of his work, which is at once fragile and raw, primitive and sophisticated, historic and modern. I’m delighted that Acne Studios’ publication of this book coincides with his ceramics exhibition, and it’s been a real pleasure to work with him to design a collection that carries the extraordinary motifs of his work,” says Creative Director Jonny Johansson.<\/p>\n
