Lanqi spa is definitely one of my favorite places to relax in Paris.<\/p>\n

Madame Lanqi – who created the spa – has been practicing traditional Chinese medicine for over 10 years. It’s a precious skill that has been handed down in her family from generation to generation. <\/p>\n

Like many people, I spend a lot of time in front of the computer, so my shoulders are tense. I decided to work on this area at Lanqi spa in order to relax my cervical spine and reduce the pain in my neck at the end of the day. <\/p>\n

Cheng, who took care of me, is a doctor in China, and the massage was fantastic – frankly, one of the best I’ve ever had! Cheng performed different movements in the strong way I like. She rebalanced the ying and yang with very precise movements derived from the “Tuina” technique, and I really felt that my body was in better shape and more energetic afterwards. <\/p>\n

My neck and shoulders were as good as new! My head was light, incredible. I highly recommend a message like this if, like me, your shoulders ache when you come home at night. <\/p>\n

After my massage, Lanqi gave me pieces of bitter cucumber from her garden. The pieces of bitter cucumber are dried and simply added to a cup of tea for consumption. The virtues of bitter cucumber are numerous: it aids digestion and regulates blood sugar levels. As a result, you don’t snack in the afternoon – magic! <\/p>\n
