C\u00f4tes du Rh\u00f4ne Villages, Crus de Tavel & Lirac, Saint-Gervais Villages, C\u00f4tes du Rh\u00f4ne, Gard… Rich in a palette of unique Terroirs, Chartreux has been creating a precious mosaic of Sensation wines since 1929, with respect, enthusiasm and creativity… <\/p>\n

Grape varieties: Grenache Noir 50%, Syrah 30\u00f9, Carignan 10%, Mourv\u00e8dre Winemaking: Traditional winemaking with a harvest resulting from rigorous plot selection. Vatting time 21 to 28 days. Terroir : Some soils are sandy (loess), others clay-limestone with sandy-stony plateaus. Tasting notes : Ruby-red wine. Rich nose, deep aromas of black fruit and spices: blackcurrant, blueberry, blackberry, pepper. Powerful on the palate, with silky tannins blending with aromas of candied red fruit. Long and fresh on the palate, with great ageing potential. Food pairing: Perfect for meat in sauce, game and stew.<\/p><\/div>\n

Grape varieties: Viognier, Gew\u00fcrztraminer. Vinification: Cold maceration. Controlled cold fermentation. Terroir : Limestone-clay soils, the “terres blanches” of Pujaut. Tasting notes : Pale yellow color with light reflections. Complex, fruity nose with intense notes of rose and lychee. Smooth, fresh palate with floral notes. Food pairing: This wine stands on its own, but will also delight as an aperitif or with Mediterranean dishes.<\/p><\/div>\n

Grape varieties: Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Mourv\u00e8dre, Cinsault. Vinification: Traditional vinification with 7 days’ maceration. Terroir : Clay-limestone with rounded pebbles. Tasting notes : Garnet-red wine. On the nose, this wine reveals notes of jammy black fruit, cherry, licorice and spices. Round on the palate, with a finish dominated by candied, spicy and, above all, peppery notes. Well-melted tannins. Food & wine pairing: Perfect with charcuterie, grilled meats, game, poultry and cheeses.<\/p><\/div>\n
