Six Senses Crans-Montana to open in 2020 in the heart of the Swiss ski resort<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Once completed, the 47-room<\/strong> Six Senses Crans-Montana<\/strong> will be a permanent fixture in one of the region’s leading ski resorts, marking a significant new stage in the hotel group’s development.
\nLocated in the canton of Valais, the resort of Crans Montana is two hours from Geneva<\/strong> est s by car and train.<\/p>\n

“We’re delighted to be working with project coordinator 1875 FINANCE<\/strong>, and look forward to expanding our presence in Europe. This project will offer an incredible selection of outdoor activities, including<\/strong> skiing<\/strong>and wellness<\/strong>. The resort will perfectly complement Six Senses Douro Valley in Portugal, Six Senses Residences Courchevel in France and the seven award-winning Six Senses spas in Europe in Paris, Crete, Mykonos, Marbella, Gstaad, Courchevel and Etihad’s premium lounges at London Heathrow airport. <\/em>“said Bernhard Bohnenberger, <\/strong>President of Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas.<\/p>\n

\"\"The resort will comprise 47 rooms and suites<\/strong>, with 17 Six Senses residential apartments<\/strong> already available for purchase. They include three-bedroom lofts<\/strong> and four-bedroom configurations that are sold off-plan and marketed by BARNES.<\/strong>
\nCrans-Montana’s layout will allow 13 of them to be purchased by foreigners<\/strong> as second homes<\/strong>. This is one of the last construction projects in Switzerland that can offer residences for sale to foreigners. <\/p>\n

Two restaurants<\/strong> are planned, as well as a well-equipped terrace<\/strong>, bar <\/strong>and sales area<\/strong>.
\nThe resort’s wellness offerings include a 2,000 square metre<\/strong> spa<\/strong> (specializing in Alpine treatments), gym<\/strong> and fitness area<\/strong>, swimming pool<\/strong> and also a relaxation area<\/strong>. The spa will also include an area dedicated to treatments<\/strong> for children<\/strong> and teenagers<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

In line with Six Senses’ goal of sustainable development<\/strong>, recycled and local materials will be selected by the architectural and design teams, and reused materials will be used in the manufacture of finishes, flooring, joinery and fabrics.<\/p>\n

In line with Six Senses’ strong commitment to sustainable development, energy<\/strong> and water<\/strong> conservation also play a key role in the project’s design.
\nSmart lighting, ozone layer protection and renewable energies will be part of the resort.
\nA black and grey water system is to be included in the project’s infrastructure, ensuring that wastewater is not wasted, but reused in construction operations.
\nRainwater will also be collected, treated and used.<\/p>\n

Gr\u00e9gory Marchand<\/strong>, Managing Director of Barnes<\/strong>, the prestigious international real estate sales agents said: “Six Senses Crans-Montana is a unique project<\/strong> that brings a new dynamism<\/strong> to the resort.
