La Mar\u00e9e Jeanne is a blend of the “bistro rotisserie edible delicatessen” launched in 2010 near Oberkampf and the “\u00e9cailler” traditionally associated with Parisian brasseries. S\u00e9bastien Mar\u00e9chal, formerly at Caf\u00e9 Moderne and Jeanne B, is at the helm of this new vessel, and Chef Cyril Boulet, who trained with the Troisgros brothers and Jo\u00ebl Robuchon, is in charge of the kitchen. <\/h5>\n

Bouillabaisse, mousselines or fine consomm\u00e9s, the inspiration is classic, but its expression will be to the tastes of the day: lightness, surprises and tapas, fish by weight and cooked to perfection, down to the minute. You can also reserve and order some exceptional dishes, in a salt crust for an entire table. <\/h5>\n

La Mar\u00e9e Jeanne is located at 3 rue Mandar, between Montorgueil and Ch\u00e2telet, where the crowds are as eclectic as the reasons for getting lost. It’s a neighborhood where people live, work, go out, shop and sightsee. Paris in miniature. La Mar\u00e9e Jeanne has risen from the waters, thanks to Samuel Nageotte. True disciples of contextualism, the firm’s architects and engineers imagined and designed this vessel, inspired by the words of Marc Chagall: “In the beginning was blue”. The ship’s bow, docked at Rue Mandar, is accentuated by its metal casing tinted ocean blue, punctuated by orange touches reminiscent of the Mediterranean’s reflections at the end of the day.<\/h5>\n

The main deck opens onto an open kitchen and bay window. The whelk-sized shellfish bar combines sea-blue and midnight-blue tiles with metal and wood benches. A large mirror multiplies space and perspective. A vaulted room acts as a hold for large tables, bamboches and other charivaris. <\/h5>\n

For lunch: On the Starboard side, from Monday to Friday, the restaurant offers a suite of three savory touches called “Mar\u00e9e Basse”, at 18 euros as well as the \u00e0 la carte menu. On the port side, the bar offers a smaller menu, including fried smelts, oysters and the famous Croq’ Homard, which has already delighted customers on the Jeanne A and Jeanne B. For dinner: the restaurant offers a menu of the day’s catch, in “small catch” portions such as tasting bites, or in classic portions. The bar, meanwhile, offers the same services as at lunch, half-regatta between nibbles and iodized dishes, balanced by a choice of craft beers on draught and a selection of wines inspired by Astier’s extensive wine list. <\/h5>\n
