\"Spreckels\"<\/a><\/p>\n

You can’t miss the Spreckels frame by Mykita & Bernhard Willhelm. This oversized model, inspired by American surfing legend Bunker Spreckels, draws on the shape and colors worn by the “style king” of surfers. <\/p>\n

In the 1960s and 1970s, Bunker Spreckels was an exceptional surfer, who died aged just 27, leaving behind many stories and legends. At the age of 20, he adopted a rock’n’roll lifestyle: low-slung leather pants and large, thickly contoured plastic glasses that defined the style of an era, and were characteristic of his eccentric look.
\nThe seventies frame by Mykita & Bernhard Willhelm takes its name from this idol. The rounded silhouette of its face, with stretched sides, gives the wearer a weary, melancholy allure. The glasses are available in three colors for summer 2015: Beige\/White with orange-black lenses, Dark Green\/White with green lenses and Smoke\/Black with black lenses. <\/p>\n
