On November 27, we were invited to the opening of Stefanie Renoma<\/a> ‘s new “Dancing Tuxedo<\/strong> ” capsule collection. At this event, “Dancing Tuxedo” chapter 3, we were surprised by the richness of the staging (video projections, aerial performer, photographs…). And with good reason: Stefanie likes to liven up her new collections with a host of surprises that showcase her style while telling a story. <\/p>\n

The most surprising surprise of all was the exhibition by photographer Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Monceau, who captured the sensuality of the new Renoma collection<\/a> with an audacious touch that perfectly blends the classic spirit and rock’n’roll madness of this “Dancing Tuxedo” chapter 3 event.<\/p>\n

As our visit to the Renoma komplex store<\/a> progressed, we were delighted to discover the secrets of a perfectly calibrated event that owed its charm to a muse in tune with the times, who passionately shares her journey with us.<\/p>\n

S.Garcia-Montull:<\/strong> How did you come up with the idea for this new collection?<\/p>\n

Stefanie Renoma:<\/strong> I love dance; the universe and atmosphere it exudes, and like every one of my projects, it starts with a dream, then comes the encounters, and the projects gradually come together with a lot of magic and instinct.<\/p>\n

S.Garcia-Montull:<\/strong> Why “Dancing Tuxedo” chapter 3?<\/p>\n

Stefanie Renoma:<\/strong> It’s inspired by dance and tuxedos. So the title came naturally to me for this project. “Chapter 3” is like a new story beginning. I work on my collections and the artistic direction of my photo projects as little stories. And, each season, I deliver a piece of myself, a bit like a puzzle. This time, I chose photographer Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Monceau to illustrate my vision of the images, and Rapha\u00ebl Toureille, model and dancer, to accompany me in the creation. <\/p>\n

S.Garcia-Montull:<\/strong> Are you yourself a dancer and a smoker?<\/p>\n

Stefanie Renoma:<\/strong> In another life I danced, and in this one I smoke. It’s a terrible vice, but I’ve always been fascinated by wisps of smoke. <\/p>\n

S.Garcia-Montull:<\/strong> What does the “Dancing Tuxedo” woman mean to you?<\/p>\n

Stefanie Renoma:<\/strong> An assertive woman. Sensual, chic and determined. <\/p>\n

S.Garcia-Montull:<\/strong> Who would be the muse of “Dancing Tuxedo” if you had to choose one?<\/p>\n

Stefanie Renoma:<\/strong> My greatest inspiration… Prince, in the late 80s. <\/p>\n

S.Garcia-Montull:<\/strong> Why did you choose to illustrate this new collection?<\/p>\n

Stefanie Renoma:<\/strong> Rather than a fashion show, I prefer to organize events around my collections, so that I can meet people and share my work in an evening.<\/p>\n

S.Garcia-Montull:<\/strong> How did Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Monceau come to be chosen for the company?<\/p>\n

photography and Rheda Benteifour for the choreography?<\/p>\n

Stefanie Renoma:<\/strong> Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Monceau… for his sensitivity, sensual perceptions and eye for detail. And Rheda, for her incredible talent. He’s the idol of a whole generation. I was delighted first to meet him, and then that he agreed to follow me on this “Dancing Smoking” project. With him, it’s much more than a simple meeting… <\/p>\n

S.Garcia-Montull:<\/strong> If you had to choose one song to represent this new collection, what would it be?<\/p>\n

Stefanie Renoma:<\/strong> It’s too difficult, there would be too many!<\/p>\n

Stefanie Renoma:<\/strong> Rock, leather, androgynous glamour… but I prefer to leave the suspense to you…<\/p>\n
