This was a year of complex climatic conditions.
The singularity of this vintage lies in the weather conditions at harvest time.
The weather was dry and sunny, cooling off after dark. The result:
elegant, lively, well-structured wines with great ripening potential. <\/p>\n\n

This vintage is only the 4th edition of Gosset Celebris Ros\u00e9 in the last 25 years. This confidential cuv\u00e9e is offered in a limited edition of 15,000 bottles. The CG monogram on the bottle highlights
the identity of the House’s most prestigious cuv\u00e9es. The ultimate expression of the Gosset identity, Celebris represents 4 centuries
of expertise in the art of vinification, blending and ageing of exceptional crus. Only 7 white and 4 ros\u00e9 vintages have been produced since the first cuv\u00e9e, made from the 1988 harvest. This production, of the highest quality, is distinguished by its rarity. <\/p>\n\n
THE IDENTITY OF THE CUV\u00c9E<\/p>\n\n
Organoleptic profile: its luminous, crystalline copper color reveals its long maturation in cellars.
On the nose, an aroma of strawberry jam, enhanced by spices (black pepper) and menthol, is followed by hints of
ripe summer fruits: peach, nectarine and apricot.
On the palate, the wine presents a gourmet tension: aromas of ripe black cherry are balanced by a note of blood orange bringing an enveloping acidic freshness.<\/p>\n\n
The iodized finish recalls the minerality of the Chardonnays that dominate this blend.<\/p>\n\n
Gosset Celebris Ros\u00e9 2008 has already been enjoyed with mushrooms, foie gras, poultry, lobster,
strawberries and citrus fruit. A thousand other pairings remain to be discovered according to your desires and creativity.
