Between the Atlantic Ocean, the Pyrenees and the Garonne, a land steeped in history that has managed to preserve its authenticity, Gascony invites you to experience the simple pleasures of pleasure and indulgence. On the slopes of these rolling landscapes, no fewer than 1,200 winegrowers cultivate a vineyard long devoted to the production of wines for the distillation of Armagnac. In the early 80s, they began to create wines that reflect their joie de vivre, gourmet wines, the vast majority of them white, IGP C\u00f4tes de Gascogne, wines to savor! <\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n

Since the early 80s, C\u00f4tes de Gascogne has been the fruit of the labors of 200 winemakers who love to welcome and share. You feel right at home with them. Conviviality is natural and a smile is on everyone’s lips. They’re serious, but they don’t take themselves too seriously, just like their wines.
\nThanks to the success of C\u00f4tes de Gascogne, the most exported French white wine in the world, the Gers is the leading producer of IGP wine in this color!
\nMore than anywhere else in France, in the South-West, grape varieties, mainly originating from the Pyrenean foothills, have circulated, crossed rivers and established themselves wherever peasants were willing to domesticate them, wherever the thirst of pilgrims had to be quenched, wherever the plants felt most in tune with the environment, to the point of attaching themselves to it, liking it, establishing themselves there. Today, whether they are ampelographers (vine scientists), oenologists (wine scientists), modest or great wine lovers, everyone agrees that the South-West has one of the most interesting wine heritages in the world. <\/h5>\n

Colombard, gros manseng, petit manseng and ugni blanc produce highly aromatic white C\u00f4tes de Gascogne to which, depending on the cuv\u00e9e, winemakers add more international varieties such as sauvignon or chardonnay. Tannat, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon make up the red and ros\u00e9 C\u00f4tes de Gascogne wines, which are imbued with notes of red and black fruits.
\nThis diversity of grape varieties is reflected in the singular wines, offering wine-lovers a remarkable palette of gourmet flavors. <\/h5>\n

Colombard: a unique bouquet
\nA typically oceanic grape variety, Colombard thrives only in the Gascony region, where it willingly bequeaths its exotic aromas, which set it apart from all the others: grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, pineapple.
\nTo express itself at its best, to retain its incomparable freshness and taste, it needs a temperate zone, as is the Gascony climate. Wherever winegrowers have tried to introduce it into areas that are too hot, it “sulks”, letting its aromas burn and its flesh dry out, confirming that without water, it cannot flourish. The Gascons are proud to be the only ones able to offer it the land it loves. <\/h5>\n
