He’s got doe eyes and a toothy grin: for the first time this season, the Andrea Crews man proudly appears (but doesn’t let on) on the official French men’s ready-to-wear calendar.<\/p>\n

This summer, our long-haired Cupid is getting dressed by a gang of twerking nerds to the live, electrified merengue sound of Maluca: the tropical-punkette straight from Manhattan is taking up a residency at Red Bull Studio Paris with an exclusive-explosive creation remixed by Parisians Club Cheval.<\/p>\n

Our fearless man from the future is a heart-warmer. He takes his American cousin, a rave artist, for a stroll through Paris 3.0; they make friends with the guards at the Mus\u00e9e d’Art Moderne and the postcard sellers at the Eiffel Tower, and wander through a world furnished with pop sculptures by the French collective Mod\u00e8le Puissance. <\/p>\n

On their clothes, large birds scan masterpieces. These same paintings hijack a sports wardrobe and heckle the iconic 90s tracksuit. \"A00A2637\"<\/a><\/p>\n

These paintings also pass through the filter of a tourist souvenir stand: our infernal tandem wears upcycled scarves, adorned with satin Van Gogh clouds or Monet’s Water Lilies in 3D.
\nImpressionism takes on the colors of the street and the energy of naive art for a pop Street Arte Povera, and confronts upside-down bobs and caps, raw materials, techniques and pearly silks.<\/p>\n
