Baseball arrived in New York in the mid-19th century, developing mainly in New Jersey and Brooklyn. Quickly promoted as the national sport, it carried with it an imagery of caps, vertical-striped tops and tight pants. A frequent inspiration for fashion designers, this time it’s New Balance’s turn to pay tribute. <\/p>\n

With more than 100 years of existence, the brand has had its ups and downs. Over the past 2 years, it has become a benchmark sneaker, spotted on the feet of fashionistas and celebrities alike.
