Just a stone’s throw from the Mus\u00e9e d’Orsay, “les Climats” is an unusual restaurant. The establishment boasts a unique cellar composed mainly of Burgundy wines. The very promising Julien Boscus is in charge of the kitchen. <\/strong><\/h4>\n

Named Les Climats in reference to the Burgundy wine region, which defines its most beautiful plots, this restaurant on Rue de Lille is an atypical place. The entrance features a bar worthy of a grand hotel, with hundreds of bottles of Burgundy on display, and a beautiful dining room with velvet armchairs. Just a few meters away, the high, luminous glass roof opens onto a terrace-garden planted with trees, a little haven of peace little known to Parisians. <\/h5>\n

On my visit, I take a seat in the middle of the glass roof. For starters, a beef carpaccio seasoned with vinaigrette and Saint Jean truffle, buratta ice cream and white balsamic vinegar. A wonderful combination! <\/h5>\n

We then move on to a Saint-Pierre de ligne stiffened in oil, creamy broccoli with lemon zest, carrot juice with argan oil. The cooking is just right. On the palate, it’s an explosion of flavors. <\/h5>\n

For dessert, Gariguettes strawberries are a real treat. Accompanied by a meringue garnished with candied strawberries, lemon sorbet and cubes of cucumber with kirsh, we’ve hit the nail on the head! <\/h5>\n

Having arrived in September 2013, thirty-something chef Julien Boscus offers an inventive and refined cuisine. He sublimates the classics of the Burgundian repertoire with flair, without forgetting the basic principles of his native Aveyron. Les Climats is a fine address. A truly unclassifiable place. <\/h5>\n
