Nearly 9,000 people<\/strong>, 15,000 liters<\/strong> of beer consumed, 4,500 pork knuckles served<\/strong>: the first Parisian Oktoberfest has come to an end after 10 days of Bavarian-style festivities.<\/p>\n

The Paris Event Center at La Villette<\/strong> vibrated to the rhythm of the Bavarian band, the Steinsbergs<\/a> <\/em>while <\/em> the the <\/em><\/a>Paulaner<\/a> <\/em>was served with <\/em>typical Bavarian dishes <\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Parisians stood up, danced on the benches and shouted PROSIT! L<\/em>he distinctive spirit of Munich’s famous Oktoberfest was very much in evidence.
\nA winning bet for Ralf Schneider, whose main objective was to bring a small piece of this major event to Paris.<\/p>\n

On the program: Bavarian Cancan (a dance specially created for the occasion and widely acclaimed), beer mug-carrying contest and coaster battle!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The German brewery seized the opportunity of the Paris Oktoberfest to raise its profile with the French public. Parisians discovered Germany’s most popular beer, a blend of tradition and savoir-faire, during a festive and convivial evening.
