This Sunday, July 5, 2015, on the occasion of Paris Fashion Week, Lacoste was undoubtedly preparing one of its finest coups. As ready-to-wear slowly drew to a close and haute couture week was about to reveal itself, the Palais de Tokyo played host to the mysterious “Players” event. In the basement, an installation worthy of an art exhibition set-up presented the emblematic Lacoste Polo shirt, diverted with panache from the weight of its tradition. <\/p>\n

Surrounded by a lighting installation, the Polo is embroidered with pearls, gems, plexiglass, all entertaining us with the essential element of the piece: fit and comfort. It’s a contradictory liberation of the polo that’s given a new edge. <\/p>\n\n\t\t
