Guest members of the Chambre syndicale de la Haute Couture, Dutch duo Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren define summer in three words: straw hats, flip-flops and flowery dresses. But that&#8217;s without taking into account the ability of designers to experiment, to dare, to give their own definition to the couture version of summer clothing. Working with a single fabric, they print, embroider and transform it to create new pieces that end up intertwining like flowers growing out of dresses and clinging to the straw of hats. Viktor&amp;Rolf&#8217;s signature play on volume is evident in the white petticoats that protrude from the dresses, or the bows on the collars that reveal the shoulders.
