Based in Paris, Lara Melchior has always loved to draw. Her aesthetic tastes first led her to photography, before launching a brand of costume jewelry. The success of this line led her to learn the artisanal techniques of goldworking. She designs and handcrafts all the pieces she creates. She starts with drawings that come to life on her workbench and can evolve as she begins to work the material. Seeing the pieces evolve as she works them all by hand makes them as different as they are unique. This process is at the heart of her approach and brings an originality that defines her delicate style. <\/p>\n
Inspired by nature, the jewels in this collection take the form of beehive honeycombs, encrusted with brilliant stones, or adorned with marble for a more sophisticated effect. The materials are noble, in silver or gold-plated, but also in brass and semi-precious stones. <\/p>\n\n\t\t
