For the fast-approaching summer of 2015, Stanislav Vadrna, Nikka Whisky’s ambassador in Europe, has come up with two refreshing cocktails to enjoy as an aperitif in the sunshine.<\/p>\n

Tsukimi Cocktail<\/p>\n

This cocktail with Nikka Coffey Grain is characterized by a powerful fruity aroma and a long finish. With its notes of exotic fruit and vanilla, Nikka Coffey Grain goes perfectly with apricot liqueur. Fino sherry adds freshness and complexity. <\/p>\n

Recipe:<\/p>\n

40 ml Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky
\n20 ml X\u00e9r\u00e8s Fino
\n15 ml Merlet “Lune d’Abricot” liqueur
\nlemon zest<\/p>\n

Preparation: Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice cubes. Stir and serve in a chilled cup without ice. <\/p>\n

50 ml Nikka whisky From The Barrel

\n20 ml fresh lemon juice
\n25 ml cane sugar syrup
\n5 ml absinthe
\n1 egg white
\n30 ml sparkling water<\/p>\n
