The use of wooden crates by other champagne houses did not become widespread until the early 19th century.<br \/>\nAt that time, crates conveyed the prestigious image of the champagne houses, which emblazoned them with their name, or even their coat of arms, by means of firebranding.<br \/>\n<iframe src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yGcbIh5WODI\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nFor the festive season, Ruinart has designed the Caisse-Cave, a practical and playful wooden crate: rectangular, it can be stacked like a construction set,<br \/>\ncreating a Ruinart space in your wine cellar, or out in the open, in your home.
