The year 2024 is already shaping up to be an exceptional time in Los Angeles, both culturally and gastronomically. With landmark openings, major celebrations and emerging talents, the City of Angels promises intense moments of discovery and wonder. <\/p>\n\n

On the arts front, the year will see the enthusiastic opening of Destination Crenshaw, a $100 million open-air art museum designed to enrich the expression of black American culture in the heart of South LA. The Museum of Natural History, meanwhile, will present a major $75 million renovation(http:\/\/destinationcrenshaw.org,<\/a> http:\/\/nhm.org)<\/a>. These inaugurations will be complemented by celebrations for the 20th anniversary of the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the 90th anniversary of the iconic Larchmont Market. <\/p>\n\n

On the culinary front, Los Angeles has confirmed its status as a gastronomic capital with more than 25 starred establishments in the MICHELIN guide(https:\/\/guide.michelin.com)<\/a>. The scene favors talent, as evidenced by the winners of the 2023 James Beard Awards. New chefs, such as Little Bear, promise to sublimate the taste buds. <\/p>\n\n

Sports enthusiasts and culture lovers will also be delighted with the inauguration of the Intuit Dome, the Clippers’ ultra-modern stadium, and the major PST artistic events that will punctuate the year(http:\/\/clippers.com)<\/a>. Finally, the city makes a point of highlighting its visual identity through the thriving street art scene in every district. <\/p>\n\n

With a program rich in musical, culinary and artistic discoveries, 2024 is the ideal opportunity to (re)discover the cultural richness of a city in perpetual effervescence. Lovers of art and gastronomy are sure to be enchanted. <\/p>\n\n
