On Tuesday March 22, the Michelin Guide France 2022 star award ceremony took place in Cognac.<\/p>\n
The expert jury awarded a star as well as the Prix Passion Dessert to the gastronomic restaurant La Rotonde at the H\u00f4tel du Palais in Biarritz, which in 2018 joined the Hyatt group through its prestigious brand The Unbound Collection by Hyatt<\/em>.<\/p>\n “We are delighted and proud to learn that the Michelin Guide 2022 has awarded a star and the Prix Passion Dessert to the H\u00f4tel du Palais restaurant La Rotonde. In 2021, the partial reopening of the H\u00f4tel du Palais in the midst of a pandemic and after 3 years of renovation work was a real challenge. As the emblematic palace of the city of Biarritz and the surrounding region, it had to live up to the very high expectations of its guests,” <\/em>says General Manager Alessandro Cresta.<\/p>\n This has now been achieved with the arrival of two talented new chefs at the helm of the restaurants: Aur\u00e9lien Largeau, Chef des Cuisines, and Aleksandre Oliver, Chef P\u00e2tissier, who have been working together since 2021, forming a duo as energetic as they are creative.<\/p>\n Together, and with their respective brigades, they put their passion and generosity at the service of their customers every day, introducing them to inspiring and innovative cuisine featuring local and seasonal produce.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
