To be enjoyed dry, on the rocks or even in cocktails, these two bottles are the ideal partners for a tasting experience that is as good as it is beautiful and unique.<\/p>\n

THE BALVENIE DOUBLEWOOD –

\nThe Balvenie DoubleWood 12 benefits from a double maturation. After spending a minimum of 12 years in American oak barrels, it is transferred to Spanish ex-sherry Oloroso barrels for another nine months. The Balvenie DoubleWood is a whisky with a very distinctive character that will suit amateurs and connoisseurs alike.<\/p>\n

Tasting notes
\n<\/em>Nose: This whisky presents notes of ripe fruit and Oloroso sherry, enhanced by hints of honey and vanilla.
\nPalate: DoubleWood 12 is a velvety, mellow single malt, beautifully combining the sweetness of hazelnut, the spice of cinnamon and a delicate note of sherry.
\nThe finish is long and warm.<\/p>\n

\nAfter aging in traditional oak whiskey barrels for 14 years, The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year Old is matured in barrels that first contained West Indian rum for 4 months. With its toffee flavors and light fruity accents blended with The Balvenie’s signature smooth honey notes, this original whiskey will appeal to rum and whiskey lovers alike.<\/p>\n
