Model Gigi Hadid has been chosen as muse for the launch campaign. <\/p>\n<p>The Monogram collection pays tribute to Burberry&#8217;s heritage and founder through a new house code &#8211; the initials TB intertwined in the brand&#8217;s famous beige and brown tones.<\/p>\n<p>The monogram designed by Riccardo Tisci and Peter Saville, the British designer and art director, was unveiled in August 2018. I was immediately interested in Thomas Burberry, not only for his pioneering qualities, but also for his character as a husband and father. The design of his initials was so special and contemporary that I decided to make it a new graphic code for the brand. It&#8217;s a symbol that celebrates Burberry&#8217;s heritage in a modern way. In developing this collection, I wanted to pay tribute to the whole audience that Burberry speaks to. I&#8217;m very proud of the campaign I&#8217;ve created with my collaborators, who are true creative icons.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Riccardo Tisci, Burberry&#8217;s Chief Creative Office<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The thread behind this shoot was to create imagery in which Gigi Hadid could embody four characters: the woman, the man, the boy and the girl, all in a very minimal studio environment. The group of creatives with whom I was fortunate enough to develop this campaign fully understand that Riccardo&#8217;s vision is central to the project. Everyone kept this notion in mind with the utmost respect for each other&#8217;s work.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nick Knight<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I&#8217;ve always loved and respected Riccardo&#8217;s work, and I&#8217;m proud that he called on me for this project. My first show for Burberry marked my first collaboration with the house&#8230; so the timing was perfect. It gave me a chance to really get to know Riccardo. Talking to the creative team about the project, I immediately understood how I was going to bring the four characters to life. Nick, Katy and Peter are true legends with whom I had an incredible time. I wanted to give it my all, and I&#8217;ve rarely had such a good time.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Gigi Hadid<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;It was very special for me to be part of Riccardo&#8217;s team. He has a very strong vision and I know him well because we&#8217;ve collaborated so often. Through this campaign, we wanted to show that the Monogramme collection is really for everyone, whether it&#8217;s the chic woman, the elegant man or the cool youth.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Katy England<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Riccardo and I worked together to update the brand&#8217;s graphic identity last year. It was very exciting to see the Monogram find its place in this line with such sophistication. Working in London for an English house with a British (but international) team was a great experience. Gigi interpreted all the characters very aptly, she was able to encapsulate the whole Burberry universe.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Peter Saville<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>THE COLLECTION:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Burberry Monogram has been developed for men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s ready-to-wear and accessories. A monogrammed band in red, white and black adorns the initials TB on a range of pieces. <\/p>\n<p>The collection seen in the countryside includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Girl: oversized T-shirt, silk pants, camera bag, socks and pumps.<\/li>\n<li>Boy: a hooded sweatshirt and a cap. The fanny pack, backpack, sneakers and duffel bag are made from toila. <\/li>\n<li>Lady: three-quarter nylon coat, silk shirt with contrasting collar and cuffs, silk pencil skirt, tote bag, silk carr\u00e9 and pumps.<\/li>\n<li>Gentleman: three-quarter length coat, ribbed knit cap and shirt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The complete collection also includes cotton pique polo shirts, tracksuit bottoms, nylon bombers, a silk chignon scarf, a cashmere soccer scarf, a bikini, sunglasses and a non-slip yoga mat created in collaboration with Liforme.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style>\n\t\t\t#gallery-1
