And not just any car: the iconic <strong>1972 Lamborghini Miura SV.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Creating one of my works with a real car has always been a dream of mine. One day, a friend said to me, &#8220;I&#8217;ve got a Miura and I&#8217;m going to have it restored. Could you use it to create one of your Disintegrating images&#8230;?&#8221;<\/em> <em>He obviously didn&#8217;t have to ask me twice, working on one of my favorite cars, touching every last screw and every part of this legend, and bringing them together in a single composition&#8230; it&#8217;s a dream come true!&#8221;<\/em> says Fabian Oefner in an interview with Lamborghini magazine.<\/p>\n<p>It took Fabian two years to complete this work, during which time he and his team travelled to the various workshops around the Lamborghini factory in Sant&#8217;Agata\/Italy, to photograph every part of the car, taking advantage of the fact that it was being restored.
