On Wednesday May 16, Selena Gomez and PUMA hosted the biggest Instagram event of the season to celebrate their latest training shoe, the DEFY. Reserved for VIPs only, the launch took place at the Paramount Studio and defied all aspects of a modern city, with a laundromat that doesn’t swallow socks, a gym full of balloons and dancers choreographing Selena’s latest hit “Back To You”, a bodega where you can only eat candy, a 3D mural painted in chalk and much more! Selena, who officially opened the city, showed off her DEFYs while meeting fans and proudly walking the streets of this unconventional city.The DEFY was available for sale exclusively to guests, ahead of its official release on May 31 at DEFY CITY. Inspired by the resurgence of the chunky sneaker trend, the DEFY shakes up workout norms.
