RENE CAOVILLA BLAZES A NEW TRAIL<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rene Caovilla looks to the future with optimism, building on his long-standing heritage and setting new goals for the future.<\/p>\n

Thanks to an internal restructuring plan implemented a year ago by Rene Caovilla, President of the famous luxury footwear brand of the same name created in 1934, the company has recorded a 20% increase in sales in 2021 compared with 2020, notwithstanding the pandemic, with a forecast of a repeat performance this year.<\/p>\n

On the retail side, Rene Caovilla plans to expand its network of selected wholesalers by adding new partners who are in tune with the House’s high-end exclusivity, particularly in emerging markets that offer great potential for the House.<\/p>\n

Also on the agenda for 2022, the opening of two mono-brand boutiques, one in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, and the other in Chengdu, China. Four new openings are planned for 2023 in Asia, the Middle East and the United States. The latter is an increasingly interesting market for Rene Caovilla, where the Las Vegas and Miami boutiques are very successful. <\/p>\n

By contrast, the Venice boutique moved to a larger space on Calle Larga XX II in March 2022. From the very beginning, Rene Caovilla’s history and uniqueness have been deeply linked to Venice, its lifestyle, art and craftsmanship. <\/p>\n

The new space, a perfect showcase for the collections, fully reflects the Maison’s desire to once again strengthen its link with this unique city.<\/p>\n

The boutique and store growth strategy is accompanied by the implementation of e-commerce channels, which have been consolidated in 2021, with a focus on products, the customer journey and markets.<\/p>\n

Also spurred by an omnichannel push, aimed at creating seamless synergies between in-store and online shopping experiences, Rene Caovilla forecasts a strong 30% rise in digital sales by 2022.<\/p>\n

Creating a sense of community is increasingly relevant today, as consumers seek emotional and spiritual connections with people, brands and movements. In fact, the House will increasingly develop purpose-driven initiatives, aimed at individual markets or on a global scale. <\/p>\n

Balancing heritage and novelty, Rene Caovilla continues to enhance its offering through diversified collections, highlighted by a growing number of multi-occasion styles and daytime staples, such as biker boots, flat sandals, loafers, ballerinas and boots that are very well received by consumers. Driven by a new vision in the marketing and communications departments, Rene Caovilla seeks to increasingly attract and engage the younger generations of the new luxury through renewed aspirational desirability. <\/p>\n

That said, its most iconic styles, epitomized by the 53-year-old Cleo ankle-wrap sandal, remain powerful drivers of desirability among all age groups, standing the test of time. The Spring\/Summer 2023 season will bring an even bolder, more eye-catching attitude with new proportions, bold colors and eccentric touches that tap into the newfound excitement of getting dressed again and the desire for glamour as Covid’s closures loosen. <\/p>\n
