The love of beautiful things is something to be shared. Even at 17, you can already be very aware of your tastes, know yourself and have a precise project. In this case, to dress a woman to make her divine; to bring out the luminosity in each of us. <\/p>\n

The youngest designer at this fashion week, he grew up in an artist’s world and realized, at an age when some were hesitating between firefighter and astronaut, that fashion was where he would blossom. Once he had set his course, R\u00e9ouven did everything in his power to achieve his goal: he took part in numerous meetings and internships to learn about every stage in the making of a collection. From inspirations, to model designs, to the choice of mannequins and the set design for the catwalk show: all these elements require a great deal of thought. <\/p>\n

Here, the fashion show was inspired by Brigitte Bardot. An icon, of course, but above all a woman of conviction who was never afraid to defend the causes that were dear to her heart, regardless of her image as a sex symbol, regardless of preconceptions, BB is a woman of action, a free woman. Dieu cr\u00e9a la femme: the discovery of Brigitte Bardot for millions, the discovery of a natural body… Gainsbourg’s photographs of her strolling around dressed in a simple white sheet: purity, luminosity, free spirit. An ambiance, an era that R\u00e9ouven extends in the musical choices that punctuate this fashion show. The materials in the “Premier bourgeon” collection are just like their main muse: lively. Crochet, wool and lace, worked by talented little hands, evoke the image of the flower. <\/p>\n

“We’re not serious when we’re 17”, these few lines from Rimbaud don’t reflect the lack of rigor or knowledge associated with this age; rather, they reflect the fact that we need to take the time to remain a little light and that there’s still a lot to learn. R\u00e9ouven has already done a lot, and his knowledge shines through in this first collection; but what we appreciate most about the young designer is that he knows how to remain humble and recognizes that he still has a lot to learn. <\/p>\n
