MONCLER PRESENTS ITS “BIO-BASED CARBON NEUTRAL” DOWN JACKET<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to constant research into innovative solutions with low environmental impact, Moncler can now offer its “BIO-based carbon neutral” down jacket. This carbon-neutral down jacket is made from plant-derived fabrics and accessories. <\/p>\n

Following the launch of the Moncler Grenoble Recycled range, the brand confirms its commitment to encouraging research and experimentation with alternative solutions that contribute to the fight against climate change. Designed in collaboration with the research and development departments of Moncler’s partners, this down jacket features fabric, lining, buttons and zippers obtained from castor seeds. It also complies with the quality and technical standards that characterize the Moncler brand. <\/p>\n

Castor oil is a sustainable and renewable source: grown in arid regions where agriculture is impossible, it does not affect food production and requires very little water. What’s more, using this raw material reduces CO2 emissions by 30% compared to fossil fuels. <\/p>\n

Always striving to protect the environment and biodiversity, Moncler has offset the emissions generated during the life cycle of its jacket by participating in REDD+-certified projects, an initiative focused on preserving the Amazon rainforest. In this way, Moncler was able to create a down jacket with a “BIO-based” carbon-neutral footprint. <\/p>\n

The use of environmentally-friendly technologies and materials is part of the brand’s commitment to the ongoing integration of sustainability into its business model. The Moncler brand is aware that sustainability is not an end in itself, but rather a process of perpetual improvement based on the constant search for new solutions that will shape our future. <\/p>\n

Moncler is listed in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI) World and Europe, with the title of Industry Leader in the “luxury textiles, apparel and accessories” sector.
