The work on materials and 3D quilted effects is particularly noteworthy. Emblematic tweed is reinvented in a thousand and one ways. Winks to French bistros can be found in an apron skirt that gives a new allure to the silhouette, or checkered fabrics. The expertise of Chanel&#8217;s ateliers is reflected in the many graphic embroideries that recall brasserie floors. Small hooded parkas, straight or slightly flared skirts, paletots, jeans &#8211; all the wardrobe essentials are there. Knits were colorful and warm, with long tubular dresses.
