<\/strong>After Champagnes Billecart-Salmon in December and Domaines Perinet and Baudy-Dutour earlier this year, Ecluse wine bars are hosting Domaine Georges Vernay until April 17, 2019 inclusive. A favorite of the Ecluse sommelier and a desire to help people discover these estates and their wines are behind each spotlight. Domaine Georges Vernay has naturally established itself as one of the region’s finest and most prestigious estates, at the forefront of the Condrieu appellation’s revival. The estate made its mark on the history of Rh\u00f4ne Valley viticulture when Georges Vernay saved the Condrieu appellation by planting Viognier, the only white grape variety in the region today, at the beginning of the last century. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\t\t
