<\/p>\nFor the 73rd Mostra, Jaeger-LeCoultre has created a unique Reverso Grande Taille watch featuring an enamel miniature paying tribute to the restoration trades at the Scuola Grande di San Rocco.<\/p>\n
The reverso watch was unveiled on Jaeger-LeCoultre’s official Facebook page on September 8.<\/p>\n
For one week, until September 15, by clicking on “like”, every visitor to the official Jaeger-LeCoultre Facebook page triggered a donation from the company for the restoration of the Scuola Grande di San Rocco.<\/p>\n
More than 2,500 likes were recorded, demonstrating the great enthusiasm for this initiative.<\/p>\n
At the 73rd Venice International Film Festival, guests at the Jaeger-LeCoultre Lounge were also invited to take part in the project. They were asked to draw a heart in the digital guestbook to symbolize their support for the restoration of the Scuola Grande di San Rocco. <\/p>\n
Jaeger-LeCoultre ambassador Carmen Chaplin was the first to take part in the project, drawing a heart which was then engraved on the back of the Reverso watch presented for the occasion. Zhao Wei and other guests also took part in the project. <\/p>\n

Located in the San Polo district of Venice, this congregation under the patronage of Saint Roch, protector of the plague-stricken, was founded in 1478 to combat epidemics and help the sick. Thanks to the sponsorship of Jaeger-LeCoultre, visitors can now admire a new lighting system that superbly highlights Tintoretto’s paintings, which are highly sensitive to light. Installed in the Sala dell’Albergo, the new LED lighting system emits less infrared and ultraviolet rays, which are responsible for color degradation. The House’s sponsorship program also involved the Scuola’s marbles, in particular those in the Sala Capitolare and the impressive portal leading to the grand staircase, restored with the utmost care. The work required unrivalled expertise, meticulous patience and scrupulous attention to detail – qualities shared by the watchmaking craftsmen of the Vall\u00e9e de Joux who work day after day to bring exceptional watches to life. <\/p>\n\n\t\t
