His work mixes <strong>video, installations and photography<\/strong>, preferably in a world altered by digital technology. <\/p>\n<p>Y\/PROJECT accessories, including Kamasutra jewelry, were <strong>scanned in 3-D<\/strong> and incorporated into this digital installation. For Heyman, 3-D modeling is not only a means of preserving the past, but also a way of recycling the present and an attempt to shape the future. <\/p>\n<p>Both from Belgium, Y\/PROJECT Artistic Director <strong>Glenn Martens and Frederik Heyman have been friends since their studies at the Royal Academy of Antwerp<\/strong>, when Frederik created the images for Glenn&#8217;s very first collection.<em>&#8220;I start my work with 3-D scanning, and create digital installations in a virtual environment. All the bodies were first scanned in 3-D and then combined in large mechanical installations.
