This 42-hectare estate, which dates back to the 17th century, boasts an exceptional site overlooking the Dordogne valley and a unique terroir. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Made from <strong>80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon<\/strong>, <strong>Ch\u00e2teau de Ferrand 2016<\/strong> is characterized by a very intense violet color with garnet highlights. The nose, though still young, reveals great potential. Fruity aromas mingle with a spicy bouquet, offering elegant complexity. On the palate, the wine delivers a powerful balance between freshness and tannins, a sign of great ageing potential.
